The Canada Council for the Arts, CBC/Radio-Canada, Indigo Books and Music and partnering literary festivals are offering Canadians various ways of enjoying the GG season: contests, activities and events.

CBC Books and Zone d’écriture will present a commissioned series: 10 literary creations in English and French, written by past GG winners on the theme: Close Encounters with Science.
Win with your own original work
Members of the public are invited to submit their own literary creation on the same theme, for the chance to win a $ 1,000 cash prize.

Meet the 2012 GG winners
These 14 acclaimed writers include novelists, non-fiction writers, poets, playwrights, illustrators and translators from across Canada. They will gather in Ottawa for one night to sign books and meet the public.
